Plumbing repairs are impossible without plumbing tools. Different set of plumbing tools used for different kind of plumbing repairs. Like, the general-purpose tools for general repairs, the drain cleaning tools, electrical plumbing tools, the swimming pool repair tools, pipe and tubing tools etc. But mostly the professional plumbers use these specialized professional plumbing tools. For general users like us a tool bag is essential. A tool bag carries different types of plumbing tools. They come in different sizes. Their quality too varies accordingly. The basic plumbing tools are,
• The Plumber wrench: it is a tool to screw or rotate with force, various pipes during plumbing. This tool is used to deliver a significant force. You have to be very careful while using this. As by inaccurate work it is possible to break the pipe.
• Pipe wrench: This type of wrench is the best because it can be adjusted and is basically brought in use for turning iron pipes that are soft and also the fittings that have round surface. The jaws are adjustable in them. They allow it to adjust perfectly in the frame, in a way that that any kind of pressure that is towards the handle actually has a tendency to bring the jaws together tightly and pull it forward. They are either made up of steel or aluminum.
• Water pump pliers: the water pump pliers are actually tools of hand that are primarily designed for gripping pipes by using some kind of leverage. These are basically designed for variety of purposes and need to have different configurations of jaw for having a perfect grip, to turn, to pull, or for that matter to crimp a lot of things. There are also pliers that have special jaws that are used for cutting. They are slightly different from the general pliers.
Additional plumbing tools include the welding tools and equipments of the welding snake, plug and feather. When a ‘plug' is drilled into a surface rock, a ‘feather is wedged' into the plug. A ‘snake' is used to pass through the conduit. A common tool is the heating equipment. This is a very handy and important part of a plumber's ensemble as heating is often required for metal size alteration and jamming purposes. The heating plumbing tools can be heated either using electricity or by other means.
